Erin Heatherton: Secret shows are exhilarating

Erin Heatherton feels 'exhilarated' after a Victoria's Secret show.

The American model is currently a Victoria's Secret Angel and has walked in the famous shows for the lingerie retailer since 2008.

Erin admits she felt nervous about strutting her stuff for the iconic brand for the first time, but found the experience uplifting.

'Before my first show, I thought, 'How am I going to do this?' But because you're smiling, you come off the runway exhilarated,' she told the latest issue of UK magazine Marie Claire. 'And, surrounded by the other girls, it's not so nerve-wracking.'

The 23-year-old star takes each show seriously. She spends hours ensuring her body is in perfect shape and embarks on workout regimes and yoga sessions.

'It's my responsibility to look after myself,' Erin explained.

'Before a show, I work with my trainer on sculpting my abs. But it's not just about your body – you need inner strength and personality, too.'
